The show features all the beloved staple tracks — including “Let It Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “For the First Time in Forever” — alongside brand-new music composed specifically for the Broadway run. “Frozen is a story that resonates across generations,” said Marisa Musgrove, director of the production. “Our cast has worked incredibly hard to bring these beloved characters to life, and we are excited to share their talent and enthusiasm with our community.” The 74-person cast is anchored by a talented roster of young local performers taking on the story’s iconic lead roles: Elsa: Stella Hunter; Anna: Audrey Carter; Kristoff: Cameron Avendano; Olaf: Levi Laddon; Sven: Kate Marshall; Hans: Miles Reed; Oken: Ty Felberg; Young Elsa: Kate Kuty and Young Anna: Mia Gonzalez. Behind the scenes, the artistic team guiding the youth cast includes director Musgrove, music director Kim Hendrix-Racine, choreographers Casey Arnold and Sarah Robertson, stage manager Alicia Campen and assistant director/stage manager Alexi Ayer. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly for this regional youth premiere, so attendees are highly encouraged to secure their seats in advance. Helix High’s theater is at 4200 Lowell St., in La Mesa.
