WhatsApp has allowed for easy switching between two different accounts on the same devices for a little while now, and it seems that Meta is looking to expand this to three. While it is not clear how many people routinely work with three devices or phone numbers, there is clearly some level of demand, or the feature would not be in development. For now, it appears that testing is underway in the iOS version of WhatsApp, but it would be strange if it did not also spread to other platforms.
