US says it will not attack Iran's energy sector US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said the United States will not attack Iran's energy infrastructure, as oil prices continue to surge.Wright told CNN on Sunday that disruptions to the petroleum and gas industry will last for a "few weeks" at most.The comments came after Israel attacked oil storage facilities in Tehran on Saturday, causing huge fires and plumes of smoke over the Iranian capital.Wright said: "These are Israeli strikes, these are local fuel depots to fill up the gas tank."
