The presenter has a passion for radio and has spent three decades at the BBC, starting at Radio 1 in 1996. He has also worked at BBC Radio 1Xtra since 2007 and started his Radio 2 show in 2008. Listeners will still be able to hear Trevor present The Music is Black concert from Hackney Empire on Sunday night on BBC Radio 2, which was pre-recorded last month.
