The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Sukriti Foods promoter Kailash Chand Mangla in a money laundering case linked to the alleged adulteration of ghee supplied for Tirupati Laddu prasadam. The agency claimed Mangla manufactured adulterated ghee worth Rs 96 crore using palm-based oils and chemicals. A special PMLA court has sent him to judicial custody.
