This 1937 Cord 812 is a Sportsman convertible coupe that reportedly spent several years between the 1950s and 1980s under the ownership of USAC driver and stuntman Bob Harkey. The car is said to have undergone a refurbishment prior to being purchased in 2005 by a Virginia collector who remained its steward until 2026. Finished in black over black leather, the car is powered by a supercharged 288.6ci Lycoming V8 that drives the front wheels via a vacuum-operated four-speed pre-selector transaxle. Additional features include a single downdraft carburetor, independent front suspension, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, external exhaust pipes, mechanically operated pop-up headlights, and a black convertible top. This 812 Sportsman was purchased by the selling dealer approximately one month ago and is now offered with an Indiana title.
