Ryan Allan Simonson

Ryan Allan Simonson, age 43, of Chisholm, Minnesota, passed away on March 1, 2026.Ryan was born on August 8, 1982. He grew up in Glenwood, Minnesota, and later moved to Rochester, Minnesota, where he graduated in 2002. Ryan spent many years working in the pipeline industry as an inspector. He was well respected and well liked by the many people he worked alongside throughout his career.Ryan had a deep love for movies and could often be found watching the latest film or diving into Bigfoot documentaries and shows. More than anything, Ryan had a great heart and soul. He loved spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephews, who brought him tremendous joy.Ryan will be remembered for his distinct sense of humor and his unforgettable laugh. His presence lit up a room, and his kindness and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.He is survived by his father, Sidney Simonson of Chisholm, Minnesota; his mother, Rainelle Sawyers, and stepfather, John Sawyers, of Rochester, Minnesota; and his brother, Barry Simonson, and sister-in-law, Gina Simonson, of Hermantown, Minnesota, along with their children, Gavin, Owen, and Lauren.A celebration of Ryan’s life will be planned for later this summer.Ryan’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
