Red Oak High School's girls basketball team was removed from the UIL state basketball playoffs after forfeiting its playoff game against Sunset due to the use of an ineligible player. Sunset advances to the next round, facing Prosper Walnut Grove High School. Walnut Grove is currently ranked No. 8 in the state.
