Restricted free agent Peyton Watson is aiming high in contract negotiations with the Nuggets. According to Marc Stein and Jake Fischer of The Stein Line, Watson is seeking an average annual salary north of $25 million — more than the extension Denver gave Christian Braun last offseason.
