Emerson Hancock pitched six scoreless innings, allowing one hit, as the Seattle Mariners defeated the Oakland Athletics 4-1. Victor Robles had three hits, Josh Naylor and Mitch Garver each had two. Gage Jump made his MLB debut for Oakland, allowing four runs over five innings. Tyler Soderstrom hit a solo home run in the ninth for Oakland's only run.
