Mina Morita’s op-ed is disappointing but not surprising (“Allies can firm up fragile energy grid,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices, Jan. 18). A brief review of public records shows that she supported the failed 2014 HECO merger with Florida-based company NextEra, a pro-liquefied natural gas (LNG) corporation.
