JPMorgan warns a global food crisis could hit next year, and unlike oil, there’s no backup plan for fertilizer

According to JP Morgan, a "very strong" El Niño during the winter and fall of 2026 coupled with fertilizer shortages brought on by the war with Iran could lead to global food shortages
