Television network MGM+ has announced that actress Joanne Froggatt, known for her roles in Mobland and Downton Abbey, has been cast in the upcoming television series adaptation of The Magnificent Seven. She will play Harriet Talbot, a pregnant woman who escapes an abusive marriage and defends her community, drawing the character Chris Adams, played by Matt Dillon, into a conflict. The series reimagines the classic 1960 Western film and its 2016 reboot for the small screen.
