Heatwave conditions are expected to prevail in several parts of India. Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and several parts of Maharashtra will see heatwave conditions in the coming week, said the IMD. Delhi will also witness extreme heat during the period, after a brief relief in the beginning of this month. Temperatures might reach 43 degrees Celsius by Friday.
