Google Wallet is extraordinarily useful. Autofill is extraordinarily useful. Now Google is combining the two for mobile users so that iOS and Android fans can enjoy greater ease of use. It follows on from Google making autofill more powerful on the desktop by adding support for more complex data types. Bringing the same capabilities to mobile platforms levels the playing field for everyone. There will be understandable privacy and security concerns about the autofilling of very sensitive data in this way, but Google offers assurances that end-to-end encryption is in place to keep everything safe and away from prying eyes....
