GitHub Releases REST API for AI Vulnerability Scanning; Enterprise Server Still Excluded

GitHub Advanced Security released REST API endpoints on September 10 giving enterprise teams programmatic control over AI-powered pull request scanning, enabling staged rollouts by risk tier and audit-ready compliance records. GitHub Enterprise Server is not yet supported, with no roadmap date announced.
