Firefly Aerospace autonomous navigation is now fully in-house: the AI that executed two hazard avoidance maneuvers on the Moon in 2025 has been acquired from Space-ng, and will guide five contracted missions including three NASA CLPS lunar deliveries, the MoonFall South Pole drone deployment, and a Defense Innovation Unit space domain awareness mission in orbit.
