According to Women’s Aid, the deaths of Adina Constantin and Jamey Carney, both having occurred at the beginning of July and both supposedly at the hands of their partner or husband (note: solely Adina Constantin’s husband has been charged with murder so far), have marked eight femicides in all of 2026, already overtaking 2025’s statistics.
