Activist and social media sensation Abhijeet Dipke, leader of the satirical Cockroach Janta Party, was arrested upon arrival in New Delhi alongside numerous supporters. The protest, originally planned to demand the resignation of the Election Chief, was thwarted as authorities detained over 2,000 individuals in what critics are calling an attempt to silence free speech and youth activism.
