Landon Lohrman — Marketing Landon Lohrman is a senior in Erika Fries’ Marketing program and completes his co‐op at Protocol 80, a digital marketing agency where he works behind the scenes on projects for various companies. He chose the program for its versatility and the communication, branding and strategic‐thinking skills it provides. Lohrman says applying classroom concepts such as identifying target markets and understanding brand identity has strengthened his understanding of the field. He values the real‐world experience of working with clients and learning how tools like automated emails and websites are developed and managed. After graduation, Lohrman plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study civil engineering. Jeremy Pierce — Carpentry Jeremy Pierce, a junior in Spencer Pehonsky’s Carpentry program, is gaining hands‐on experience through his co‐op placement in maintenance at Zippo. Drawn to carpentry because he enjoys building and working with his hands, Pierce began with tasks such as painting and cleanup before moving into more advanced work, including building wooden carts and completing drywall, drop‐ceiling and insulation repairs.
