This 1972 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE was purchased by the current owner earlier this year, and it had previously been refurbished following long-term ownership in eastern Washington State. Work included removing and rebuilding the 2.8-liter inline-six and the four-speed automatic transmission as well as refinishing the engine compartment, replacing the carpeting and air-conditioning system, reupholstering the seating surfaces in blue leather, and fitting a stainless-steel exhaust system with a powder-coated exhaust manifold. The body was repainted about two decades ago, and other details include power windows, a Becker Europa radio, 14" steel wheels, and full wheel covers.
