Nearly 1,800 people gathered at Nambol Sabal Leikai in Manipur’s Bishnupur district on Saturday to commemorate the first anniversary of the Nambol ambush. The gathering paid tribute to two Assam Rifles personnel who lost their lives in the attack while returning from flood-relief duties.
